Chappaqua Charming Farmhouse

Modern farmhouse outdoor lighting brings together classic charm and contemporary elegance, creating a refined yet welcoming outdoor environment. For this Chappaqua property, the goal was to blend rustic architectural elements with modern functionality, ensuring the lighting felt both intentional and timeless.

The design focused on creating a complete outdoor living experience through the use of various lighting fixtures selected to complement a wide range of outdoor settings. To extend the client’s outdoor living space across multiple viewing areas, the lighting sequence begins at the entrance to the rear yard and transitions naturally through the pergola, patios, gardens, perimeter pool, pool house, outdoor kitchen, sauna, and multiple pathways.

This progression allowed for a layered lighting effect—establishing cohesion, balance, and symmetry as one lighting scene flows seamlessly into the next. Each area was designed to stand on its own while remaining visually connected, resulting in a unified and immersive nighttime experience throughout the property.
